Does M. Night Shyamalan know his movies are getting worse with practice, not better?

The Village (2004)

Signs (2002)

Unbreakable (2000)

The Sixth Sense (1999)

Wide Awake (1998)

Praying with Anger (1992)

to me..the idea of an m.night shyamalan movie is always more interesting than actually having to sit though an m. night shyamalan movie. and i feel the same way about tim burton, actually.

I agree with you. I loved The Sixth Sense it was worthy of Alfred Hitchcock. Unbreakable was done well. But I couldn't stop laughing through Signs. I mean come on, water? The Vilage was nothing more than a hippie commune. I'm glad I didn't pay money to see the last two movies.

Well, actually I never did see signs, but The Village was really lame.
